IBAK Data Base

The IBAK Data Base offers, in German and English, approximately 100 instruments and procedures for identification, assessment and recognition of informally acquired competences.

The Project “Identification, Assessment and Recognition of Informally Acquired Competences”, in short IBAK, started in December 2008. The project was promoted by the EU-Programme “Lifelong Learning” and supported by partner organisations from Germany (project coordination), Austria, the Netherlands, France, Lithuania, Slovakia and Switzerland. In the course of the project, an extensive data base evolved in which interested persons can search for the appropriate procedures for certification of competence. The data base offers the possibility to filter the procedures and instruments in accordance with target-groups, languages, as well as procedure aims.
